How I start a product

Name the action: book a slot, send an invoice, save a row. Constraint first — one role, one flow.

Smallest Next.js app that can do that in production. No slide named “migration.”

Then iterate: a second role, a report, a webhook — after the first loop closes.
A site shows the offer and takes a request. A web app has login, state, and repeat actions. If they return to do work, it is an application.
A bounded MVP — one flow that takes a real action — is usually weeks, not a quarter. Scope stays on the email thread.
Send the constraint and the first action. I reply with the smallest version I would ship — and what I would refuse.
